Alef-Bet Admissions Information

If you have been thinking about Alef-Bet for your child, please do send in an application now. We are already accepting applications for 2007-2008.

Our Age Requirements:

  • Alef Class: must be 15 months old by September 1
  • Bet Class: must be 2 years and 9 months old by September 1
  • Gimmel Class: must be 3 years and 9 months old by September 1

We do accept children during the year if a space becomes available. However, the child still must meet the age requirement for September 1st.

Visiting Us:

Visits start at 8:45 AM on Tuesdays or Thursdays (and usually end around 10:00 AM). The application form is a prerequisite for the visit. Families are scheduled individually. You will have an opportunity to observe in the classroom while hearing about our program and having your questions answered.

It is your choice as to whether you want to bring your child. We only ask that you simultaneously be able to observe in the classroom, talk with staff, and supervise your child.

Priority:

Alef-Bet policy gives priority to Alef-Bet siblings, and to TBS families when the desired schedule and age fit the openings in our enrollment. Priority also goes to families on our wait list for the previous year.
