Application
- Tuition Assistance
Tuition Assistance
at Alef-Bet provides financial help to families who may otherwise not
be able to enroll their child/ren in our program. The Center offers assistance
in the form of a no-interest loan. It is our understanding that some families
will be able to repay the Center, and thus contributes to the life of
our Tuition Assistance program, while others will not. This factor will
not influence the decision of the Tuition Assistance Committee in selecting
among applicants.
All applications
and financial awards are completely confidential. While our funds are
limited,
we do attempt to be as generous as we can be. The selection process is
as objective and as flexible as possible. As in our admissions policies,
special consideration is given to continuity of enrollment for a child
already in attendance, as well as to siblings, alumni and members of the
Temple Beth Shalom
Application
Process:
- Call the
Center to request and fill out an application for enrollment to Alef-Bet
Child Care, Inc.
- Ask for
the Tuition Assistance information and application or download it here.
- Return
both applications accompanied by your latest federal tax form 1040 along
with any additional information you may want to provide.
- The enrollment
application will first be reviewed and a determination made as to the
availability of space in the age appropriate classroom for your child.
- Your child
will either be accepted or wait-listed. Acceptance is NOT based on the
need for a Tuition Assistance.
- Once your
child is accepted, the Tuition Assistance Committee will process the
Tuition Assistance Application.
The Application will be reviewed by a committee composed of Alef-Bet
community members who do not have children currently enrolled in the
Center. The Committee will make its determinations based on the financial
need of the applicant and the availability of funds. They will consider
special circumstances.
